Shockbag® was designed and created in Uruguay to help people who travel through the city every day to recover their personal belongings in the event of theft or robbery.

It is an electronic, radio-controlled device that, when activated, emits an electric shock.

The electric shock involuntarily forces the user to release whatever the device is attached to, mainly: bags, purses, backpacks, bicycles, motorcycles and automobiles.

In Uruguay, in the last 15 years, there has been a 40% increase in theft and 70% in robbery. Situations that used to occur in specific and more limited areas have been expanding and, as a consequence, affect 5% of the population every year.

At Shockbag® our top priority is the safety and well-being of people. That is why we created this innovative product, which offers a simple and effective solution to ensure the safety of those individuals who travel on public roads and are potentially exposed to situations of this nature.

Under the slogan “do not resist under any circumstances, let your belongings go away and recover them a few seconds later” we launched our first product to the market.

We began this journey with the conviction of continuing to develop products that can ensure the integrity and well-being of people.
